libfftw3-dbg software package provides Library for computing Fast Fourier Transforms - debug symbols, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfftw3-dbg
libfftw3-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfftw3-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libfftw3-dbg *
You will get with libfftw3-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
